Maharashtra will host the T20I matches of Australia women's tour of India, scheduled to begin on December 9, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Friday.

The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will host the first two T20Is, following which the tour will shift to the Cricket Club of India. The last three T20Is will be hosted at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, on December 14, 17 and 20 respectively.

The tour was announced in May this year, but the dates and venues were to be fixed. The timings of the games haven't been disclosed as yet.

The two teams last played against each other at the final of the inaugural Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, in August this year, where Australia emerged victorious and clinched the gold medal.
